Hi, I’m Hillary!

I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician with over a decade of experience in small animal medicine.

I offer locum RVT service to veterinary practices in BC throughout Vancouver Island and the Mainland.

With a decade of experience in small animal medicine, a heart for mentoring and learning, and a love for the veterinary community, I am excited for what I have to offer your practice as a locum RVT. I have spent the last few years of my career really honing in my technical, leadership, communication, and management skills. Prior to starting my locum journey, I worked as head technician in a busy GP practice. I had many responsibilities and took lead with duties such as:

• introducing and initiating current anesthetic practices with respect to multimodal analgesia/pain management
• leading vet tech team-building meetings to strengthen and foster everyone’s skills and abilities to optimize patient care and hospital flow
• mentoring vet tech students and new grads
• aiding in the planning and set up of a new clinic site
  

I am so thankful that I have ended up in a line of work that I can truly say is my passion
